![]() ![]() Can anyone else weigh in on this? I'm real eager to finish this project and don't want to have to wait another week for a different programmer if I can somehow get this one working. The closest I came to success was a string of "Verify Error"s in WinPic, but even that "Couldn't initialize Programmer!" So, after researching related problems all afternoon, I'm left thinking that this thing just has awful connectivity/needs some voltage boost(?), or has the wrong drivers. Then I uninstalled/deleted all the Prolific drivers and had Windows auto-install whatever it recommended (you'd never guess! updated Prolific drivers.). I tried using WinPic with the different drivers, which didn't work. ![]() ![]() Basically, they sent me Prolific serial-to-usb drivers and other versions of MicroBurn, none of which worked. ![]() The guy who sold it to me wasn't able to provide any software because "he couldn't find it," so I got software from other vendors selling an item with the same picture. You will then need to set the Port Number of the board, the port number can be found by going to Computer Management > Device Manager and it will be located under. I bought it off eBay, which had "K150 ICSP" in the description, so I treated it like one for a while, downloading several different DIYPacks from, but none of those detected it either. Once the software has been downloaded and extracted, open the application: Microbrn.exe When the software opens up you will need to choose the K150 board by File > Programmer > K150. ![]()
